MACKAY, Queensland – Kleinfelder, a global engineering, science, and architecture consulting firm, today announced that it is relocating its office in Mackay, Queensland to support growing demand for its environmental and land management services in the region. The office in the Harbour City Complex, will open on May 6, 2015 following an opening ceremony with local clients and associates.

The relocation is intended to promote growth as Kleinfelder expands its relationships with major clients in the mining and energy markets. Located just outside of Mackay’s active business district, the new office will allow the company to better serve and more efficiently connect with local clients and the community.

Kleinfelder has been providing environmental and land management consulting services throughout Australia since 2012, when the company acquired the Ecobiological Group and Alliance Environmental Engineering & Consulting. Since then, the 54-year old company’s expertise has been evident on several projects in Mackay and greater Queensland, including pre-clearance and fauna spotter catcher services for AngloAmerican and the 200ha Grosvenor coal mine in Moranbah. Kleinfelder is also a regular service provider for the Queensland Government’s Department of Transport and Main Roads, and are the primary providers of ecology and land management services for the Mackay Regional Council.
