Kleinfelder Recognized by Ronald McDonald House Charities at its 2013 International Conference

CHICAGO, Illinois Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) has recognized Kleinfelder--a global architecture, science, and engineering consulting firm--for its commitment and dedication to serving families in need throughout the United States and Australia.

Kleinfelder has been supporting RMHC since 2011, as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program. Since then, Kleinfelder has raised more than $110,000, donated 24,282 pounds of food and goods, volunteered more than 2,500 hours, and prepared and served more than 120 meals at local Ronald McDonald Houses across the United States and Australia.

“We are grateful to Kleinfelder who has provided funding to RMHC programs and services, collected food and goods for families, as well as have given of their time volunteering at countless Ronald McDonald Houses across the U.S. and Australia,” said Sheila Musolino, Chief Operating Officer, RMHC. “Their support is an important part of our ability to provide comfort and care to thousands of children each night through our Ronald McDonald House program.”

Kleinfelder is committed to leaving a lasting, positive influence for our clients and communities and tailors its CSR Program to address our communities’ most pressing issues. Focused on disaster relief, diversity, sustainability, and volunteerism, Kleinfelder sets annual goals for contributing resources and delivering an impact where needed most. In 2011, the company expanded its companywide volunteer efforts with a commitment to support RMHC, providing all employees an opportunity to help others.

Kleinfelder was recognized on August 23 during the Opening Session of RMHC’s  2013 International Conference. The International Conference, whose theme was STRENGTH in numbers … it starts with us, was held in Chicago, Illinois.  Marjorie Nishizaki, who leads Kleinfelder’s Ronald McDonald House Charities Program, was there to accept the on stage recognition.  More than 1,200 people attended the conference.
