Kleinfelder Invests in Growing Texas Transportation Market Through Hire of Bill Hasbrook

AUSTIN, Texas – Kleinfelder has announced that Bill Hasbrook, FDBIA, has joined the firm as Vice President and Client Account Manager for the Texas transportation market. In this role, Hasbrook will be responsible for fostering relationships with transportation clients, developing client-centric delivery teams, and communicating client requirements and expectations.

With over 40 years of industry experience, Hasbrook is well versed in all project delivery methods and has operated on both the construction and design side for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of projects for transportation departments, utility and energy providers, commercial and industrial owners, and state and federal agencies.  This experience includes noteworthy projects such as TxDOT’s $1 billion Harbor Bridge – the longest cable-stayed, concrete segmental bridge in North America; Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority’s (CTRMA) $210 million US290 Toll Project in Austin; and most recently, the TxDOT $315 million I-2/I-69C Interchange Project in Pharr, Texas – all delivered utilizing the design-build delivery method.

An industry recognized advocate of the design-build procurement method, Hasbrook has been honored with national Design-Build Distinguished Leadership and Design-Build Transportation Leadership awards through the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA). He has served in numerous local, state, regional, and national capacities within DBIA as an instructor, Southwest and Southeast Regional Board member, National Certification Board Chairman, and most recently as the National Board Chairman. He was recently inducted into the DBIA College of Fellows, an honor to date that has been bestowed on only 20 of the greater than 4000 credential holders. This designation represents the highest level of DBIA certification and acknowledges the achievements of the nation’s most accomplished design-build professionals.

“Bill is a proven leader in the industry and has gained the trust of many clients throughout Texas and the nation due to his ability to fully understand their project needs and successfully guide project delivery teams through all phases of design and construction,” commented David Boes, Texas Area Manager.  “We are excited to have him advance Kleinfelder’s position in the market as we continue to focus on delivering solutions for transportation infrastructure throughout the state.”

In addition to his dedication to serving as an exceptional client advocate, Hasbrook has contributed to several professional and charitable organizations, holding positions such as Municipal Division Chair of the Associated General Contractors; member of the TxDOT Alternate Project Delivery Steering Committee; Board Member of the San Antonio A&M Foundation; and Executive Board Member of the South Texas Council for the Boy Scouts of America.
